Dr. Limonadi is  director of neurosurgery at Eisenhower Neuroscience Institute, chairman of the brain tumor program at Eisenhower Medical Center, and president of Desert Neurosurgical Associates.

Dr. Shen is also a director of neurosurgery at Eisenhower Neuroscience Institute, and CEO of Desert Neurosurgical Associates.

Eisenhower Neuroscience Institute is part of Eisenhower Medical Center at Rancho Mirage, Ca.Desert Neurosurgical Associates provides comprehensive neurosurgery coverage at Eisenhower Medical Center and also provides care at Desert Regional Medical Center at Palm Springs.

Dr. Limonadi and Dr. Shen are both U.S. board certified and fellowship trained neurosurgeons with expertise in various brain and spinal disorders. Armed with a constantly updated evidence based approach to each illness, and utilizing the latest medical and surgical technology they treat various brain and spine disorders such as complex brain tumors, brain vascular diseases, spinal disorders (back and neck pain), stroke, facial pain (such as trigeminal neuralgia), and hemifacial spasm.

Desert Neurosurgical Associates has championed and chaired the first comprehensive brain tumor board in this area since 2008. A multi-disciplinary team of physicians lead by Dr. Limonadi as the chairman which includes neurosurgeons, neurologists, radiation oncologists, medical oncologist, pathologists, radiologist, primary care physicians, psychologists, and visiting scholars participate in monthly tumor board meetings where complex patient cases are presented and discussed.

Dr. Limonadi, Dr. Shen, together with other neurosurgeons, neurologists, and orthopedic surgeons at Desert Neurosurgical Associates are recipient of many awards and are annually recognized for excellence in their field.
