Meningioma - Case 3



History & Physical

 

  • 74-year-old lady with incidental finding of a large left convexity meningioma impinging on motor corted.

MRI scan of her brain showed a large left frontoparietal tumor radiographically consistent with meningioma.



Surgical Procedure

 

  • She underwent image guided frameless stereotactic craniotomy with brain mapping and gross total resection of the tumor.

  • She was completely intact neurologically and was discharged home soon after the operation.
